We had a magical experience with our 3 teenagers, filled with adventure, the most breathtaking views, amazing food, and service that exceeded any experience I have ever had. We will always remember and cherish the time we spent here.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. It is a small lodge with all the luxuries and amazing views. The best part is the hospitality of all the staff members. We just can’t thank them enough! It is a must-see place!

From the moment we stepped foot at Origins we knew we wanted to come back. The property is absolutely amazing, the staff are so kind and passionate and the rooms are spacious and comfortable… and the food is outstanding, very creative, with all of it coming from their own gardens. We had a good balance of relaxing time and adventure time ! Our kids did not want to leave and we’re already talking about when we can return. It is a peaceful, adult environment with high-quality French fine dining, on a visually stunning property of flora and fauna. The staff is so incredibly friendly, helpful, and treats you like good friends. The location, at the top of a mountain above Bijagua, is breathtaking. Wow, what a fabulous way to start our CR trip! The room is gorgeous, I was concerned about no AC as it was hot and humid out, but it cools perfectly in the evening! The staff is what makes this place so special. Everyone couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Loved it!!

The yoga pavilion, tucked quietly into the property, is so relaxing. The bungalows offer an unbelievable view! A slice of paradise! Origins is such a special and fantastic place, and it grows on you. It is practically in the middle of nowhere and with the most amazing view of Lake Nicaragua and a divine landscape which kind of makes you feel like you are right there at the beginning of the World. You will find the kindest and most welcoming staff who all make you feel at home! Small when it comes to the number of rooms but so big in area and heartwarming experiences.

My wife and I just spent our 10-year anniversary at Origins. It was the greatest experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel… The entire dining staff were some of the friendliest and most accommodating group of employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with as well. All around an incredible experience.

On revient à l’Essentiel, aux Origines… Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits. On a eu du mal à partir…et on reviendra avec plaisir.

We are still under the effects of the experiences this hotel offered to us. It is perfect for a break… From internal activities to spectacular views, staff kindness made us feel we were at home. The villas have self-ventilation, so we never actually felt hot inside. They are beautiful from the inside out with a stunning view. Food is as if we were going to a fine dining restaurant every day. One of the important parts of Origins are kind hearts of the people who work there. We travel a lot with my husband and that was the best hotel we have ever been to… they offered us a quality/luxury but wild experience which we have all forgotten about!

Origins is a paradise lost in the rainforest. The view up to Nicaragua lakes is incredible. Animals, especially birds, are everywhere, with plenty of in-site activities! Lodges are highly comfortable, with a perfect design. The food is just amazing… the staff is very nice and professional. It is the perfect place to recharge and reconnect to nature!

Unique place. Amazing environment with very personalized and friendly attention. The food is very remarkable. Each dish was a feast for the senses. There is a lot of privacy and intimacy in the middle of the jungle. We enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary in a unique experience due to the location, the personalization of care, the level of care, and the excursions and activities. It will be difficult to live similar days!

My family spent three days at Origins… It was amazing! The property is beautiful with many opportunities. The staff was so kind and friendly, especially to our son. I got to take two private yoga classes in the most beautiful setting with a wonderful instructor. Our guides were very patient and knowledgeable. Thank you, family!

From the first minute to the last, it was just wonderful, and everything was very loving & individual!!! We spent days doing family activities and it was so nice! The rooms are beautiful & atmospheric. The large pool with its view is unique and unforgettable. The food was fantastic, and individual wishes were always considered. Complete luxury and pampering in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in the world. Origin Lodge did not disappoint, and we were spoiled from the minute we arrived. We especially loved the wood-fired private, hot tub which was a complete indulgence every day. In addition, the food was outstanding with many of the ingredients coming from the property! We woke up each day and the sound of birds and monkeys was incredible… The staff was amazing! It was worth every penny and gave us the reboot we desperately needed. Incredibly romantic and peaceful.

Simply amazing! A beautiful private intimate jungle with the most amazing experiences of nature, people, and food. It’s a hidden gem that I am so glad I found! I feel healthier and more in tune with myself after this out-of-this-world experience. I loved waking up early with nature, all kinds of different beautiful bird and frog sounds… One-of-a-kind experience I would recommend to everyone! We are planning to come back with family and enjoy it all together once again.

This was such a magical trip and I’m so grateful for all the beautifully hearted people at Origins that made it so. I’m pretty sure that the fire-heated hot tub on the balcony with horses mingling in front of rainforest views melted several years of stress from my life. The activities are a must and the food experience is crazy… A LOT of their ingredients come directly from the land, which made me so happy. I can’t recommend this place enough and I really hope we find the opportunity to return one day. Thank you Origins! On a side note, my boyfriend and I had to work while there and the WiFi was the best we had in Costa Rica.
