Our Original Story
ORIGINS luxury lodge is an original approach to sustainable luxury hospitality that all started in 2018 with the opening of Origins Floral off the beaten path of Northern Costa Rica.
Anchored on the strong belief that reconnection with Nature is the ultimate luxury and that you need space and privacy to do so, it features only 7 jungle boutique ecolodges nested on a vast rain forest estate.
Designed for travelers who seek authenticity without compromise, every detail of our eco luxury accommodations is locally crafted with intention, and every stay is a step closer to the wild.
Building on our success and our Guest’s demand for more… We have decided to open Origins Astral in November 2025, a nearby sister property to broaden the experience with a complementary more family approach featuring 7 villas (2 to 4 bedrooms) that will create a sustainable luxury resort spanning over 50 hectares offering an experience where eco-consciousness and elevated service go hand in hand.
We have other projects in the pipeline including Origins Mineral that will be even more focused on wellness, to pursue our mission of creating sustainable luxury retreats to help our guests enjoy the luxury of genuinely and deeply reconnect with Nature.

We have developed an Art of protecting Nature’s beauty and fostering biodiversity… more than 20 team members work to take carze of the Estates flora and fauna, we even grow our own ylang ylang trees to make our own bath amenities on site.

We take our social responsibility at Heart as our local talents and partners are at the heart of our hospitality… More than 90% of our team members are from the local community, we even have our own workshop on site producing our own furniture using trees from the Guanacaste region, even some fallen in our estate creating a full ecosystem.
